In this workshop, join experienced Senior Yoga Instructor Kerri on a journey through some of the fundamentals of yoga, including;

  • Common yoga poses (Asana): learn how to modify and use props to meet yourself where you are
  • How to move your body safely: learn to listen to signals from your body and know when to challenge yourself and when to slow down
  • Breath regulation: Learn basic yoga breathing techniques to calm the nervous system, reduce tension and move better
  • Benefits of yoga and an introduction to yoga philosophy and history

Explore therapeutic practices for the feet, knees, hips and low back. If you struggle with hip or lower back pain, restricted mobility, lack of flexibility, or hypermobility – this therapeutic workshop is designed to help you move and feel better!

Join me for an empowering exploration from the ground up. Experience Therapeutic Yoga techniques, including somatic mobility exercises, myofascial release using balls and rollers, and targeted stretching for your lower body, supporting the hips and low back. You’ll also learn breathing and relaxation techniques, along with mudras, to release tension and create more space in your body, mind and heart.

For people living with persistent or chronic pain, who want to learn how therapeutic yoga can help change their pain.

  • Reduce fears around movement, by safely exploring your body with guidance

Pain is a human experience. Pain is also complex and unique to each person. This group program welcomes all who wish to learn more about changing their pain. No previous experience with yoga or movement required. Each person will be met where they are.
