SOMATIC STRESS RELEASE WORKSHOP:

This workshop offers a whole-person approach to stress relief and nervous system regulation. Through somatic movement, interoceptive practices, gentle meditation, breathing exercises and body-based calming techniques, you’ll learn how to release built-up stress and tension, and restore a sense of balance. Explore interoceptive practices to listen inward, movement to unlock long-held patterns, and practical tools you can use in everyday life to reduce stress, feel calmer, and more at home in your body. Movement is used as medicine to gently release habitual patterns, re-train muscles, and support a healthier mind–body connection.

What you’ll explore:

  • Somatic stress and tension release practices
  • Nervous system regulation techniques to reduce stress and anxiety
  • Tools to get out of fight/flight/freeze
  • Interoceptive practices to build body awareness
  • Gentle movement to release and re-pattern
  • Simple practices to support daily balance

SPRING CLEARING RESTORATIVE YOGA SOUND HEALING WITH AROMATHERAPY 

Saturday March 21st, 1:30-3pm at Sweet Serenity Yoga, or virtually

Shed the heaviness of winter, and put some ‘spring’ in your step with this restorative yoga & aromatherapy immersive sound bath. You will emerge feeling lighter and brighter! 

Join senior yoga instructor Kerri and certified sound healers Komal & Jenine to gather in community, and nurture the inner garden of your heart in a guided exploration that will have you relaxing in delicious restorative yoga poses, breathwork, meditation & aromatherapy while being bathed in an immersive sound bath with ethereal crystal bowls, soft chimes, earthy drums, entrancing gongs and more.

This soothing pairing will help cleanse & balance your chakras, move stagnant & stuck energy, calm the nervous system, release stress, and plant the seed for what you wish to manifest for spring and beyond.

YOGA THERAPY FOR CHRONIC PAIN: A 6-week group program exploring yoga techniques to influence your pain. 


Next group begins April 7th, 2026 at Vayusha Yoga (in-studio or Virtually) 


This program is for people living with chronic or persistent pain, who want to learn how therapeutic yoga can help influence their pain. 


Topics explored in the 6-week group program:

- Explore yoga practices to calm the nervous system & reduce pain 

- Learn how to move your body safely when you have pain

-Reduce fears, improve mobility, strength & confidence

- Empower yourself with knowledge about the science behind pain

- Build community & relationship with others

- Gain tools to influence your pain and live better

what you will receive:

  • Recordings and handouts for practice at home
  • Pain Science education and resources for learning more
  • Each session will be recorded in case you cannot attend session live
  • Home Pain Care planning to follow at home

No previous yoga experience required. Each person will be met where they are. Sessions can be attended in-studio or online.
