Yoga 101 - Beginners Yoga
Curious about yoga but not sure where to begin? Join me for a introduction to yoga workshop, where you will learn alignment and modifications of common yoga poses, along with basic breathing and meditation techniques.
Explore the physical benefits of yoga, like increased flexibility and strength, as you learn tools to help manage stress and anxiety.
The workshop is available in-studio* at Sweet Serenity Yoga and will be virtual live-streamed for those who prefer to participate from the comfort of home. (*Space is limited in-studio to ensure physical distancing and safety).

Pain Care Yoga Intro workshop – for people with Chronic Pain
Explore how you can begin to Change Your Pain!
Injuries and pain are a part of life. Sometimes the pain goes away quickly, but for many, pain can persist. The pain may have gotten worse, in some cases reducing mobility and strength, limiting abilities to participate in the activities that you love. Pain is complex and not as simple as a pill, or a single type of treatment.
In this 90-minute introductory workshop, we will talk about some of the science behind pain, and explore tools including breathing techniques and gentle movement practices that can help reduce your pain and improve your mobility over time.
This live online workshop is appropriate for beginners and can be done on a yoga mat, or on a chair, wherever is most comfortable for you. Options and modifications will be offered to provide accessibility.
