Staying active during pregnancy and postpartum are important for physical and emotional wellbeing. Trained specialists can best support mothers during pregnancy, and postpartum with appropriate exercises, stretches and breathing techniques to help relieve tension, build strength, and prepare for babies arrival and recovery from childbirth.
Pre and postnatal classes provide a sense of community and an opportunity for connection with others in the same stage of life.
I met some of my best friends as a student in pre and postnatal classes at The Motherhood Project. I’m grateful for the instructors knowledge, guidance and care, and I’m proud to now be part of the team as a yoga and barre instructor.
The Motherhood Project offers yoga and fitness classes for pre and postnatal students and free support sessions for mothers experiencing Perinatal depression and/or anxiety.
